B&Q Athlone’s store has won another prestigious award celebrating their success as the top performing showroom team in their category. The Athlone branch, based in Arcadia Retail Park just off Junction 11 on the M6, came out as overall winners in the mini warehouse store section.
At some 51,000 square feet under one roof, B&Q Athlone is the largest DIY outlet in the Midlands. The showroom award covers the kitchen and bathroom showrooms – a dedicated in-store area with a wide range of stylish kitchens and bathrooms.
One to one consultation for kitchens and bathrooms is available with a friendly team of in-house trained designers available to assist without a need for prior appointments.
Proud manager of B&Q Athlone, Sandra Kelly Darcy, said “We also have five kitchen and bathroom designers in store who can offer a 3D design with no appointment necessary,”.
As their prize the Athlone showroom team won a trip to Alton towers earlier this year. They were treated to a well-deserved dinner and an overnight stay. The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved.
B&Q is part of the Kingfisher group, which is the second largest DIY retailer in Europe. There are eight B&Q stores in the Republic of Ireland, and the local store includes a kitchen showroom, bathroom showroom and an outdoor Garden Centre.
We want to congratulate all the B&Q Athlone team on their award and wish them every success in the future.
